OSCILLATION: movement back and forth in a regular rhythm. Throughout the masters project I have been investigating a zone between reality and fantasy. I have drawn inspiration from writers including Franz Kafka and Rupi Kaur. In order to develop a professional perspective I have studied the work of contemporary visual projection artists including Olafur Elliasson and Pipilotti Rist. By employing phenomenological research and diverse technical methods I have captured experiences and gauged the impact on my audience. Every collaborative project that I undertake has the potential audience as a central concern. I specialise in creating innovative visuals which include abstract and experimental imagery to be viewed in a commercial and professional context. I make imaginative and versatile projections for use with performances and in independent installations. My intention is to create immersive experiences, that connect with the audience on a multi sensory level.
